PublicWarehouse.co.uk was created on May 3rd 2006 by Peter Bailey (aged 17) after the schematic database had a great response from users while on a free hosting package. The goal of Public Warehouse was to provide resources and articles and be self sustaining. Electronics and computers are the focus of Public Warehouse as they were the interests of Peter. The first year was spent preparing the website for the ability to handle and display data with minimum input from an admin.

Plans have been made to improve the databasing system allowing high volumes of data to be managed easily and allow users to contribute to all databases. Enough money was generated from the website to be able to plough back in to produce some professionally written articles, which have had a lot of interest.
